7 Jul
Summary
- Water supply disruption is scheduled for July 6 and July 7.
- Maintenance work involves connecting a new 1,500 mm water pipeline.
- Several central Delhi localities will experience low pressure or no water.

Several areas in Delhi are set to face water supply disruptions as the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) undertakes essential pipeline interconnection work. This maintenance, involving a newly laid 1,500 mm mild steel water pipeline near the Taimoor Nagar drain, is being conducted following directives from the Delhi High Court.
The disruption is scheduled to affect evening water supply on July 6 and morning supply on July 7. During this period, residents may experience either no water or significantly reduced water pressure. The DJB advises all affected individuals to store adequate water in advance.
Key localities bracing for this temporary water shortage include Golf Links, Bharti Nagar, Lodhi Estate, Khan Market, Prithviraj Road, Shahjahan Road, the Delhi High Court area, Pandara Road, Jor Bagh, Janpath, Kidwai Nagar, President's Estate, and the Safdarjung Airport area. This work aims to enhance the long-term efficiency of Delhi's water distribution system.
