Delhi Gets Rs 500 Cr Boost for Cleanliness Drive

The allocated funds will be crucial for clearing pending dues with waste management agencies, ensuring uninterrupted garbage collection and transportation. Additionally, resources will be directed towards minor road repairs, including fixing potholes, to mitigate dust generation at its source.
To ensure sustained improvements, the government will provide an annual assistance of Rs 300 crore to the MCD. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of judicious fund utilization, mandating strict adherence to financial rules and regular progress reporting.
