Delhi Air Quality Improves Slightly, But Remains 'Very Poor'

On November 14, 2025, Delhi experienced a slight respite from its toxic air pollution, with the city's overall Air Quality Index (AQI) settling in the 'very poor' category after being in the 'severe' zone for the past three days. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the city's AQI stood at 397 as of the 9 am hourly bulletin.
However, the air quality situation in the national capital remains concerning, with 23 out of the 38 monitoring stations recording air quality in the 'severe' category. Another 13 stations reported 'very poor' air quality, while the remaining two stations had 'poor' air quality.
The city also experienced a dip in temperatures, with the minimum temperature recorded at 10.2 degrees Celsius, which is 3.3 degrees below the normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a mainly clear sky for the day, with the maximum temperature likely to touch 25 degrees Celsius.
