Similar findings have emerged globally, with a recent London study linking anti-traffic policies to improved child lung health. Studies in Paris, Sweden, and Stockholm have also associated low-emission zones and congestion pricing with reduced childhood asthma rates. Research in China and the United States, involving the closure of polluting facilities, further supports the health benefits of emissions-reduction policies.
