The study warns that this escalating trend, fueled by rising temperatures and industrial emissions, could lead to an increase in respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Vulnerable populations, including children and the elderly, are at greater risk. Integrated policies addressing both climate change and air pollution are crucial as these compound events become more frequent.
