The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has detailed its examination schedule and student-centric modifications for the 2026 Higher Secondary examinations. The examination period is set to commence on February 12th and conclude on February 27th, 2026, covering Semester 4 and Semester 3 supplementary exams.
A significant adjustment includes providing students an extra 10 minutes to thoroughly review the question paper and complete necessary details on their answer scripts. This aims to reduce exam-related stress and improve candidate performance.
Furthermore, the Sanskrit examination will introduce a flexible approach for Part 2 short answer questions. Students can opt to answer question number two using Sanskrit, Bangla, or English, enhancing accessibility for a wider range of learners.
