NCERT Launches Space Quiz for Classes 6-12

NCERT is inviting students from Classes 6 to 12 to participate in the Vikram Sarabhai Space Quiz 2026, a national competition focusing on India's space endeavors. The quiz covers topics including ISRO missions, space science, satellites, astronomy, and space technology, offering a platform to enhance students' understanding and interest in these fields. This initiative is being held in anticipation of National Space Day on August 23, 2026.

The competition is segmented into two categories: a junior section for students in Classes 6-8 and a senior section for those in Classes 9-12. Participants can access the quiz via the DIKSHA platform, with separate courses designated for each age group. The quiz spans five zones, and the top 30 zonal winners will receive an exclusive opportunity to attend the National Space Day 2026 event scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad.
