The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has issued a critical alert concerning the upcoming 2026 Class 10 and 12 board examinations. Students are being warned of an increasing risk of cybercrime as the examination period approaches. Unscrupulous individuals are reportedly reaching out to students via phone calls and messages, offering deceptive services that promise improved marks through illicit means.
The UP Police, in partnership with the Department of Information Technology, is actively working to detect and apprehend those involved in these fraudulent activities. The board strongly urges students to exercise extreme caution and to refrain from responding to any unsolicited calls, emails, or messages that claim to offer assistance with their exams.
Students are reminded to never share personal or financial information with unknown entities. Any suspicious communication should be promptly reported to the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) or the national cybercrime helpline at 1930. Perpetrators will face strict legal action under the Information Technology Act.
