8 Jul
Summary
- Provisional answer key expected this week on official website.
- Exam conducted between June 22-30, with one center rescheduled.
- Objections can be filed after provisional key release.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is poised to release the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key this week on its official portal, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Applicants will be able to download their individual response sheets and question papers upon login, using their application number and date of birth.
The UGC NET June 2026 examination was held nationwide via Computer-Based Test from June 22 to June 30. A specific center in Jalandhar experienced a reschedule to July 5 due to administrative reasons, with the re-examination now concluded.
Following the provisional key's release, candidates will have a window to submit objections if they find any discrepancies. Each challenged question will require a fee. NTA-appointed experts will evaluate all valid objections.
The final answer key will be published after the objection period, forming the basis for the UGC NET June 2026 results. Scorecards will detail qualification for JRF, Assistant Professor eligibility, or PhD admission.
