The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the UGC NET December 2025 results today, February 4, 2026. Candidates can access their scores on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, by using their application credentials. The examination for 85 subjects was conducted nationwide in computer-based test (CBT) mode from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026.
The provisional answer keys were released on January 14, 2026, allowing candidates to raise objections. Subject experts reviewed these challenges, and any valid objections led to revisions in the answer key, which are now factored into the final results. The result will detail marks obtained in Paper 1 and Paper 2, aggregate scores, percentile, and qualification status for JRF, NET, or PhD eligibility.
Successful candidates will be eligible for Assistant Professor positions or JRF, which includes funded PhD programs. Under revised policies, a NET score may also suffice for PhD admission, alongside university interviews. Candidates are strongly advised to download and save their scorecards for future use in admissions and recruitment processes.
