UGC Invites Faculty for PM Gati Shakti MOOC

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has opened applications for faculty to create a new Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) titled "Introduction to PM Gati Shakti." Eligible faculty members have until January 4, 2026, to submit their expressions of interest for this initiative, which aims to enhance understanding of the PM Gati Shakti framework.
Applicants must possess a PhD and possess a minimum of five years of teaching experience in higher education. The proposed course will be four credits, split between theoretical content and practical components, and must adhere to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Credit Framework (NCrF) guidelines.
UGC will offer financial incentives for course development, with amounts varying based on credits, reaching up to Rs 13,50,000 for a 4-credit course. Additional funding is allocated for quality checks and certification, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
