Summary
- Two of three triplets tied for valedictorian honors.
- The siblings were inspired by their grandmother's emphasis on education.
- The triplets will attend different universities in the fall.

Three siblings from New Jersey are celebrating a unique academic milestone as two of the triplets have tied for the co-valedictorian position at their high school. Daylan, Laurel, and Sophia Daly, all 18, were members of the National Honor Society, but it was Laurel and Sophia who vied for the top academic spot.
Sophia and Laurel achieved identical 4.59 GPAs, a result that surprised Daylan. The siblings credit their grandmother, Francine Bogle, for fostering their love of learning through daily reading sessions and educational activities from a young age. Their father, Damian Daly, who passed away in 2022, also served as an inspiration, with his life philosophy influencing their valedictorian speech.
Despite their close bond, which they describe as having telepathic connections, the triplets will head to different universities in the fall. Laurel will attend Princeton, Sophia will study at the University of Pennsylvania, and Daylan will commute to Rutgers University. This separation marks a significant transition, as the longest they have been apart is approximately two weeks.
