On November 17, 2025, a 25-year-old Florida mom, Natalie Corridori, shared a video on Instagram that left her and the internet completely amazed. The video showed her 26-month-old son, Ezra, flawlessly reading a list of words like "construction," "Jupiter," and "excavator" - words that many toddlers wouldn't encounter until elementary school.
The viral clip, which has racked up over 159,000 views, has attracted the attention of parents, teachers, and caregivers who were astonished by Ezra's early literacy skills. Beyond the initial "wow" factor, the video has sparked broader conversations about supporting toddlers who are learning differently or faster than their peers.
Ezra's abilities clearly go beyond the typical developmental norms for a child his age. According to the CDC, most 30-month-olds are usually building a vocabulary of around 40 words and combining them into simple phrases. Ezra's confident reading of advanced words has left his mom and others wondering if this is truly "normal."
