The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has updated the vacancy count for the 2025 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) recruitment, raising it to 15,130 Group B and C posts across various government departments. This update signifies an increase from the initially announced 14,582 vacancies.
The SSC CGL selection process involves two tiers, with Tier I results declared on December 18, 2025, and Tier II examinations held from January 18 to January 20, 2026. Candidates who participated in the Tier II exam are now required to submit their preferences for specific posts and departments.
This option-cum-preference submission is a mandatory step and must be completed via the candidate login on the official SSC website between March 9 and March 12, 2026, by 6 pm. The commission emphasizes that no further opportunities will be provided, and failure to comply will result in the non-processing of the candidate's results.
