On October 14, 2025, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is preparing to release the provisional answer key for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 (Tier 1). Once the answer key is out, candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to raise objections, if any, against the provisional answers. However, they will have to pay the required fee per question to submit their objections.
The SSC will thoroughly review all the objections raised by candidates, along with any valid supporting evidence, before publishing the final answer key. Approximately 28 lakh candidates had applied for the SSC CGL 2025 exam, out of which 13.5 lakh appeared for the Tier 1 round conducted at 255 centres across 126 cities.
Candidates can access the SSC CGL 2025 answer key by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in, and entering their registration number and date of birth/password. The key dates for the SSC CGL 2025 exam include the notification release on June 9, 2025, the application window from June 9 to July 4, 2025, and the Tier 1 exam from September 12 to September 26, 2025, with a re-exam scheduled for October 14, 2025.
