Six Class 8 students from Ahmedabad's Divan Ballubhai School were reported missing for several hours on Wednesday evening. The students did not return home after school dismissal, prompting immediate concern from parents and school authorities. School officials suggested the disappearance was related to an earlier conflict on a WhatsApp group and Instagram among the students.
Following a complaint, the school had summoned parents, and the absence of six students was noted when parents arrived after hours. The Paldi police were alerted around 6:30 PM. Police intervention led to the students being located. They were found to have initially gone to Parimal Garden and later to the residence of one of their peers, from where they were safely retrieved.
