New Exam Dates Set for 1 Lakh+ RRB Group D Jobs

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has updated the examination schedule for its Group D Level 1 posts. The new exam dates are set for January 8 and 9, 2026, along with February 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10, 2026. This revised timeline replaces the previously announced dates in early January 2026.
This significant recruitment effort by the RRB seeks to fill a substantial 1,03,769 vacancies. These positions are categorized under Level 1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) matrix within the Indian Railways. Roles include essential posts like Assistant (Workshop) and Assistant Bridge.
Candidates are advised that their e-call letters can be accessed and downloaded four days before their specific exam date, as indicated on their city and date intimation slip. The RRB will also send SMS and email notifications to inform applicants once these details are activated.
