In preparation for the significant 2027 Simhastha Kumbh Mela, a specialized 21-day training course in Puja Vidhi and Paurohit services has been inaugurated in Nashik. This initiative by Mumbai's Skill Development Department aims to equip individuals with essential religious knowledge and practical skills.
The program, commencing December 16, spans 45 hours and delves into various aspects of Hindu religious practices. Training includes chanting, sacred bathing, and adherence to Vedic and Puranic rituals, offering a comprehensive learning experience.
Jointly facilitated with Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, the course emphasizes a blend of theoretical learning from scriptures and hands-on application. Participants will be assessed, and upon successful completion, will be awarded certificates, validating their readiness for religious services.
