Odisha's chief minister announced the establishment of artificial intelligence laboratories in nine Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), marking a significant step towards technological advancement. This initiative is part of a broader plan to develop 47 ITIs into centers of excellence, catering to the state's increasing industrialization.
The chief minister emphasized the importance of skilled youth in realizing Odisha's vision of prosperity by 2036 and a developed India by 2047. He highlighted that 54 students received gold medals, 53 silver, and 50 bronze medals at the Odisha Skill Competition, underscoring the talent pool within the state.
With projects worth Rs 6.15 lakh crore approved in the last 18 months, creating potential for 2.64 lakh jobs, Odisha is prioritizing infrastructure, a conducive environment, and skilled workers. This strategic focus aims to secure employment for its youth and drive the state's economic progress.
