NIFT UG Admissions: Round 1 Results Out!

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NIFT UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment results, accessible via the official counselling portal. Registered candidates can check their allotment status by logging in with their roll number and password.
Candidates provisionally allotted seats for Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) programs are required to download their allotment letter. They must confirm their willingness and pay the prescribed admission fee by the deadline to retain the offered seat.
Failure to complete these admission formalities within the stipulated time will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat, rendering the candidate ineligible for further counselling rounds. The NIFT Entrance Examination 2026 was held in February 2026.
For those not securing a seat in the first round, automatic consideration for subsequent rounds is in place, provided eligibility is maintained. The option to apply for an NRI Sponsored Seat for round 2 will be open on July 3, 2026, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Candidates can also modify their choices for the second round between July 3 and July 5, 2026.
