NEET UG Counselling Round 2: Registration Closes Today!

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to close the registration for Round 2 of NEET UG Counselling 2026 today, September 8. Aspiring candidates can complete their application and fee payment on the official website, mcc.nic.in. This round introduces 659 new seats across MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs.
The choice filling and locking period for Round 2 will extend until September 9. Seat allotment processing will occur on September 9 and 10, with the results to be declared on September 11. Successful candidates must report to their allotted colleges between September 12 and 18 to confirm their admissions. Importantly, those allocated seats in Round 2 can opt for upgrades in Round 3.
Meanwhile, 85% of state quota seats are filled through state-level counselling. UP NEET counselling's Round 1 results are out, with admissions to be confirmed by September 14. Andhra Pradesh's Round 1 MBBS results are also available, and Round 2 schedule is anticipated soon. Gujarat's Round 2 registration is currently open, with choice filling closing on September 11.
