The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the provisional Round 2 seat allotment results for NEET UG 2026 medical and dental admissions. This round has provisionally allotted 11,626 MBBS seats, determined by candidate merit and submitted options. Candidates admitted through both Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and KEA counselling have the option to withdraw from KEA's process if they wish to secure their MCC-allotted seat.
The Choice-4 facility is available from 3 pm on September 11 until 5 pm on September 14. Selecting Choice-4 signifies an exit from the KEA seat allotment process. Subsequently, KEA will conduct a re-run of the Round 2 seat allotment after the Choice-4 window closes. This re-run aims to re-allot vacant seats, including those vacated by candidates choosing MCC seats, using previously submitted choices.
Following the re-run, KEA will publish the revised final Round 2 allotment results. Depending on seat availability and allotment rules, candidates may also be eligible for an upgrade. This process ensures that vacated medical and dental seats are offered to other eligible candidates within the same counselling round.
