15 Jun
Summary
- Four law students were wrongly failed by a technical error.
- BA students received hall tickets with incorrect subjects.
- Examination center mismatches were also reported by students.

Nagpur University's Summer Examination 2026 has been troubled by multiple errors, impacting student outcomes and confidence. Recently, four fifth-semester law students from Hinganghat faced the distress of being declared 'fail' despite achieving passing marks, a situation attributed to a technical oversight in the examination section.
Following intervention by a Senate member, the university conducted a review and issued revised mark sheets, confirming the students' passing status. This incident highlights a critical lapse in the examination process. Simultaneously, numerous BA Second Semester (NEP) students received hall tickets just days before their exams, erroneously stating "Open Elective-II" instead of the correct "Open Elective-I."
The university issued a clarification, labeling the subject error as technical and directing students to the correct examination. However, students and educators express serious concern over the frequency and timing of such errors, emphasizing their profound impact on students' academic progress and mental health, asserting they are more than mere technical glitches.
