Ms. Kumari, a homemaker with a background in social science, began attending Gunjan's online coaching classes. She meticulously prepared handwritten notes, filled with complex equations, and reviewed every lesson with her son. Recorded lectures became their classroom. Gunjan recovered only in December, leaving just three weeks before the JEE Mains. His mother's notes formed the crucial foundation for his revision.
Gunjan achieved a 91.8 percentile in JEE Mains and secured rank 50 in the PwD-OBC category for JEE (Advanced) 2026. This success earned him a seat in computer science at IIT Delhi's campus in Abu Dhabi, transforming a challenging period of illness into a bright future.
