PU Exam Resit Classes Launch in Mangaluru

Following the announcement of pre-university examination results, government PU colleges across Mangaluru have commenced remedial classes for students who were unsuccessful in their first attempt. The initiative aims to boost student confidence and preparation for upcoming examinations.

Data indicates that a majority of the students who did not pass were enrolled in government PU colleges. These colleges registered a pass percentage of 92.4, with approximately 425 fresh candidates failing. The PU department has directed colleges to conduct these classes to ensure all students eventually pass.

Principals noted that most students failed in a single subject, often citing subjects like political science and English in the arts stream as challenging. Remedial sessions are focusing on these specific areas. Irregular attendance has also been identified as a contributing factor for some students. The II PUC exam 2 is scheduled to take place from April 30, with eight centers in the district prepared to accommodate students from 213 colleges.
