Mangaluru PU College Association Installs New Leadership

On Sunday, the installation ceremony for the Dakshina Kannada District Committee of the Karnataka Unaided PU College Management Association (KUPMA) is scheduled to be held. Yuvaraj Jain, the chairman of the Excellent Group of Educational Institutions in Moodbidri, will be taking on the role of president.
The secretary position will be held by Dr. Manjunath S. Revankar, the chairman of the Suraj Education Group of Institutions. The joint secretaries are Ashwin Shetty, the CEO of Savanur Vidyarashmi Education Institute, and Sumanth Kumar Jain, the chairman of the Excel Group of Institutions in Belthangady. Ramesh K, the adviser of the Shakti Group of Educational Institutions, will serve as the treasurer, and Karunakar Balkur will be the Coordinator.
According to Yuvaraj Jain, so far around 40 out of the 100 private and aided PU colleges in the district have become part of KUPMA. The association aims to bring more colleges on board in the coming days. MLC SL Bhoje Gowda and other dignitaries are expected to attend the installation ceremony as chief guests.
