Mandya district has claimed the top position in the state for its recent educational and social survey. Deputy Commissioner Kumara emphasized that this achievement is a direct result of the dedicated efforts by teachers and field-level staff, underscoring their vital role in the success of government initiatives.
During a grievance redressal meeting, Kumara announced that the Rs 7.6 crore allocated for teachers' honorariums for conducting the survey has been received. A significant portion, Rs 7 crore, has already been disbursed to their accounts, with the remaining Rs 63 lakh to be processed within the upcoming week.
Furthermore, plans are in motion to enhance healthcare access by increasing the number of hospitals under the Arogya Sanjeevini Scheme from three to twelve within the district. Efforts are also focused on ensuring timely salary payments for the district's over 18,000 government employees and promoting proficiency in new HRMS 2.0 software.
