Out of 10,646 MBBS and BDS seats, 8,001 students were admitted. Of these, 1,317 froze their seats, while 6,684 opted for betterment in subsequent rounds.
This leaves 2,645 seats available for the second round of counseling, scheduled to begin with choice filling from September 8 to 10.
MBBS seats saw a higher fill rate at 84.58%, with 6,876 out of 8,129 seats filled. Government colleges performed better than private ones.
Conversely, BDS seats had a lower admission rate of 44.69%, with only 1,125 out of 2,517 seats filled, indicating significant vacancies in dental programs.
