Sign Language Courses Launch for Lincolnshire Adults

Lincolnshire County Council is expanding its adult skills program by introducing online modules for British Sign Language (BSL) this spring and summer. These courses are designed to provide essential communication skills.
In addition to online availability, in-person sessions will be offered in Mablethorpe and Grantham. This initiative aims to significantly impact families within the county.
Councillor Liam Kelly highlighted the importance of sign language, particularly for veterans who may have developed hearing impairments during their service. He emphasized that maintaining communication methods can greatly reduce isolation and enhance overall quality of life.
