Kolkata Metro Boosts Services for UPSC Exam

Kolkata Metro has announced an increase in services for Sunday, May 24, 2026, to support candidates appearing for the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. The Blue Line will significantly increase its operations, offering 160 services. These services will commence earlier in the day, starting at 7 am, two hours ahead of the usual schedule.
Furthermore, the Green Line of the Kolkata Metro will operate an expanded service count of 116 trains on the examination day. Similar to the Blue Line, services on the Green Line will also begin at 7 am. The Yellow Line will continue to run with its normal schedule. However, commuters should note that the Orange and Purple lines will have no operational services on this day.
