Kodagu district has achieved an impressive eighth rank in the latest SSLC examination results, boasting a commendable pass percentage of 96.5%. This significant academic accomplishment reflects the hard work of students and educators in the region.
The examination saw 5,948 students appear, with 5,742 successfully clearing the tests. Notably, the girls achieved a higher success rate of 97.4%, while the boys recorded a pass percentage of 95.5%.
Leading the academic charts are Lincy Dechamma TT from St. Joseph High School, Madikeri, and Sinchana KI from Shanthinikethan High School, Kodagarahalli. Both students secured the top position by scoring an exceptional 621 out of 625 marks.
Following closely, Dean Salvo D'souza of St. Anne's School, Virajpet, earned the third position with 620 marks. Several other students also achieved high scores, with Shivani Sharada Mani and US Shrivatsa and Siddhant Kaverappa NT scoring 619 marks.
