The Kittur Rani Channamma Residential Sainik School for Girls in Kittur has launched its first-ever sports, cultural, and art camp for its cadets. The ten-day initiative commenced on March 21 and will conclude on March 31, focusing on holistic education.
Conceptualized by Principal Col Rahul Sharma, the camp is designed to balance physical fitness with creative and intellectual growth. It aims to instill discipline, teamwork, confidence, and creativity by nurturing leadership qualities and artistic talents.
The program features a wide array of activities, including swimming, horse riding, skating, yoga, hockey, badminton, basketball, and table tennis. Complementing these are sessions in music, dance, and visual arts, providing cadets a platform for artistic exploration and refinement.
This initiative aligns with the institution's vision of developing confident, resilient, and multifaceted girls, integrating physical endurance with creative expression and leadership development.
