Archana Verma, central in-charge and mission director of the National Water Mission, recently met with Khagaria district officials. The purpose was to review the progress of development schemes for the current financial year. Khagaria district has notably secured the top position nationally in NITI Aayog's delta ranking, a significant achievement.
During her visit, Verma, accompanied by district officials, toured various centers implementing development and welfare programs. These included a milk collection point, a school offering digital classes, a fishing hatchery, and a unique banana fiber plant producing textiles and organic fertilizers.
Verma expressed satisfaction with the effective implementation of schemes supported by both the Union and state governments. The district's performance indicates successful execution of development initiatives across diverse sectors.
