- 17 new centers prioritized; 10 abolished in Kalyanpur.
- High school and intermediate exams scheduled Feb 5-24, 2027.
In Kanpur, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has unveiled a provisional list of 116 examination centres for the upcoming high school and intermediate examinations. This revision prioritizes 17 newly identified centres, concurrently leading to the abolition of 10 existing centres in the Kalyanpur area.
The reduction in centres is attributed to a decrease in student numbers. Schools designated as proposed centres have been notified and invited to submit objections online. A district committee will review these before the final list is forwarded to the UP Board headquarters.
The high school and intermediate examinations are scheduled to take place from February 5 to February 24, 2027. These will be conducted in two shifts, with the schedule available on the board's website. A total of 87,846 students are anticipated to participate in these examinations.
