Johns Hopkins University's Gupta-Klinsky India Institute introduced the fellowship under the US-India Alliance for Women's Economic Empowerment. This part-time, one-year program unites academic, policy, and industry experts with women scientists nationwide.
The initial group consists of 41 women scientists hailing from 16 Indian states and union territories. They are affiliated with 30 prominent research and academic bodies, including IITs and AIIMS campuses, underscoring the program's broad reach and impact.
