The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has extended over 160 summer placement offers to its PGP Class of 2028. These opportunities span diverse sectors like consulting, investment banking, private equity, consumer goods, real estate, and fashion.
The recruitment process utilized a hybrid format, attracting leading companies such as McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, and Hindustan Unilever. The first placement cluster on October 23 saw more than 85 roles offered, while the second cluster on October 27 provided over 75 positions.
Prominent consulting firms like Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company, alongside investment banks such as JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley, were active recruiters. International roles were also available with firms like EY-Parthenon in Singapore.
Companies from the consumer goods sector included ITC and Nestlé, while conglomerates like Mahindra Group and Aditya Birla Group participated. Healthcare and financial platforms were also represented, with firms like Dr Reddy's Laboratories and Bloomberg engaging with students.
