Haryana MBBS Docs Released for PG Admissions
1 Nov
Summary
- MBBS graduates can now get original documents for PG admissions.
- Students had persistently represented for document release.
- Options provided for those not securing postgraduate seats.
Students from Haryana's government medical colleges have welcomed an order from the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER) to release their original documents. This release is crucial for implementing the MBBS Service Incentive Bond Policy and facilitating postgraduate admissions.
The decision, issued on Saturday relative to November 1, 2026, follows sustained representations from students across the state's four medical colleges. These institutions include PGIMS in Rohtak, BPS Khanpur Kalan in Sonepat, KCGMC in Karnal, and SHKM in Nuh. Graduates can collect their documents upon presenting their PG allotment letter and an undertaking.
Provisions are made for students pursuing postgraduate studies both within and outside Haryana. Those studying outside the state must resubmit their documents upon course completion and fulfill their remaining government service bond. Graduates who did not secure PG seats have options: consent for government service, a one-time payment to opt-out, or payment in installments.
Students must communicate their chosen option by November 2, 2026. The government has directed colleges to remain open on holidays, including Saturdays, to expedite document release and minimize student inconvenience. Colleges must submit candidate details and chosen options to DMER promptly.
