The Gujarat Professional Nursing and Allied Medical Educational Courses Admission Committee (GPNAMEC) has reopened online registration for the 2026-27 academic year. This decision follows recent amendments to admission rules, offering new opportunities for aspiring students.
The reopened process covers a wide array of Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs, including nursing, physiotherapy, optometry, and speech language pathology. Additionally, Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) courses are included. Candidates must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board within Gujarat to be eligible.
Prospective students are instructed to purchase an online PIN for Rs 1,000, a non-refundable fee, through the official website between July 11 and July 17. The crucial step of document verification at designated help centers is scheduled to conclude on July 18. To date, GPNAMEC has recorded over 32,000 completed registrations out of more than 33,000 purchased PINs, with over 30,000 applications successfully verified.
With more than 57,000 seats available across government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed institutions, the committee urges applicants to remain vigilant for upcoming merit list announcements on the official portal.
