The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) in Goa has organized a significant tech job drive as part of its Converge 3.0 initiative, running through February 2026. This campaign aims to bridge the gap between academic institutions and the technology industry, ensuring graduates secure employment.
As of February 8, 2026, 1,150 students have registered for the drive. Thirty technology companies have partnered with the DHE, through the Goa Technology Association (GTA), to recruit potential candidates from local colleges.
Participants have benefited from pre-placement soft skills training, facilitated by Rohit Rajput of CSRBOX. This initiative follows the successful Leap AI Hackathon 2026, which engaged 300 students in AI innovation and problem-solving.
