In a move to enhance the quality of education in Delhi's government schools, the education department has launched a new initiative that will see increased school inspections. As of 2025-11-16T20:27:06+00:00, the department has instructed all district deputy education officers and deputy directors to visit schools every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning.
During these visits, the officers will assess the overall condition of basic facilities, review efforts to reduce school bag weight, and verify the proper implementation of various educational programs and frameworks. They will also evaluate teaching and learning processes, students' health and hygiene, bonus point systems, and teachers' attendance.
