As of October 24th, 2025, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet released the detailed notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2025. However, the online registration process is expected to begin on the official website, ctet.nic.in, once the official announcement is made.
The CTET is a national-level eligibility test that determines the minimum qualification for teaching positions in central government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), as well as other affiliated institutions. The examination is divided into two papers - Paper I for the primary level (Classes 1 to 5) and Paper II for the upper primary level (Classes 6 to 8).
Candidates possessing a D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. qualification will remain eligible to appear for both Paper I and Paper II of the CTET 2025 examination. The CTET serves as a crucial step for aspiring teachers to secure teaching positions in these prestigious institutions.
