Chandigarh University recently celebrated its International Convocation-2026, conferring degrees upon 273 students hailing from 24 different countries. The graduating class included 247 undergraduates and 26 postgraduates who successfully completed studies in 57 academic programs.
The event's chief guest, Kenya's High Commissioner Peter Munyiri Maina, encouraged the graduates to serve as ambassadors for both India and their respective nations. He highlighted their responsibility to utilize their acquired knowledge for the progress and welfare of their communities and countries.
Nepal, Zimbabwe, Bhutan, and Bangladesh were among the countries with the highest number of graduates. Students earned degrees in fields such as Computer Science, Business Administration, and Computer Applications, among others.
Chandigarh University, recognized with a NAAC A+ Grade, also boasts a QS World University Ranking within the top 2 percent globally. The university maintains over 530 international collaborations, fostering globally competent graduates.
