Summary
- Company claims technical glitches and security lapses allegations are false.

- Firm refutes claims of tender irregularities and diluted procurement norms.

Coempt Edu Teck has issued a statement to address concerns surrounding its CBSE On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. The EdTech firm vehemently denies allegations of software glitches, security lapses, and irregularities in the tender process.
Regarding a student's claim of receiving the wrong answer sheet, Coempt's internal review indicated a manual error during the physical scanning phase, not a technological fault. The company also refuted claims that tender conditions were relaxed to favor them, stating that the hardware used for digitizing answer sheets meets current industry standards.
Coempt further addressed cybersecurity concerns, clarifying that an ethical hacker accessed a non-operational testing server, not live client systems. No student data or critical infrastructure was compromised. The company reported that approximately 95% of answer sheets have been successfully delivered to students.
In response to criticism linking them to the 2019 Telangana Intermediate examination controversy, Coempt cited Supreme Court records showing a minimal evaluation variance of 0.16% and the rejection of petitions for mass re-evaluation.
