14 Mar
Summary
- Class 12 Hindi exams are scheduled for March 16.
- CBSE now uses digital on-screen marking for Class 12.
- Class 10 and 12 results are expected in mid-May.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is implementing a significant change for Class 12 answer sheets with the introduction of On-Screen Marking (OSM). This digital evaluation system aims to accelerate the grading process, reducing the expected time from 12 days to nine days, and enhance accuracy. Teachers will now mark answer sheets digitally from their respective schools.
The Class 12 Hindi Elective and Hindi Core examinations are set to take place on March 16, running from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. While Class 10 examinations have concluded as of March 10, Class 12 exams are ongoing until April 9.
Students, parents, and educational institutions are anticipating the release of examination results. Although an official date is pending confirmation from the board, historical patterns suggest results are typically declared in mid-May. Last year, both Class 10 and Class 12 results were made public on May 13.
Once available, students can access their results on official CBSE websites, including cbse.gov.in and results.nic.in, by providing necessary details. Additionally, results and digital mark sheets will be accessible via the DigiLocker app on both Android and Apple platforms.
