CBSE Exams 2026: 43 Lakh Students Await Results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examinations for 2026 are currently underway, with over 43 lakh students participating. These exams began on February 17. The Class 10 examinations are scheduled to conclude on March 10, followed by the Class 12 examinations, which will end on April 10.
Currently, papers such as Class 12 Physics and various Class 10 subjects have been successfully conducted. Students are appearing for a total of 83 subjects in Class 10 and 120 subjects in Class 12. Results are anticipated to be declared in mid-May, aligning with previous years' trends.
In preparation for the future, CBSE has introduced significant clarifications for the Class 10 board examination structure commencing in 2026. These reforms include mandatory participation in the first board exam and opportunities for score improvement in up to three subjects.
