Bihar Higher Education Gets New Interim Chief

The Bihar State Higher Education Council (BSHEC) has a new officiating vice-chairman, N K Agrawal, following a state education department notification. Agrawal, who also serves as the director of higher education, assumed his new responsibilities on Wednesday. This leadership position within BSHEC had been vacant since the previous vice-chairman, Kameshwar Jha, concluded his tenure on September 22 of last year. The appointment is temporary, with Agrawal officiating until a full-time vice-chairman is officially appointed. He will perform his duties in addition to his ongoing role as director. Agrawal brings relevant experience to the position, having previously served as an academic advisor to the BSHEC during his tenure as a faculty member at L N Mithila University.
