Allahabad University recently organized its 'Familiar Faces Fiesta,' an alumni meet that brought together hundreds of distinguished former students. The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sangita Srivastava, who emphasized the university's global reach and recent developments.
The university has achieved significant milestones, including its first NAAC A+ accreditation. Major academic and infrastructural upgrades have been implemented, featuring the recruitment of nearly 400 teachers from 15 countries and the introduction of over 190 skill-oriented courses. Fifteen new buildings and enhanced sports facilities have also been established.
Alumni were encouraged to contribute their expertise and resources to further strengthen the institution. The association, successfully uniting alumni, has facilitated resource support for the university within two years of its registration. The event also included the release of a poetry collection and an art exhibition.
