Singer, children's author, and television presenter Alesha Dixon is lending her support to a novel initiative in Walsall designed to enhance literacy and life prospects for local families. The program, branded as a "Library of No Returns," allows children to receive books that they can keep permanently.

Spearheaded by Experian in collaboration with the National Literacy Trust, the project specifically targets Walsall due to its recorded lower literacy rates. Organizers highlighted that the scheme's core objective is to dismantle obstacles preventing book ownership and to cultivate a lasting passion for reading among children and their families.
