An innovative online counselling process for the recruitment of 611 medical officers to primary health centres commences on Monday, March 30. This digital initiative, announced by Minister Satya Kumar Yadav, replaces a traditional, logistically complex system with a streamlined, candidate-friendly approach.
The entire online counselling process is scheduled to conclude within 34 hours. Candidates are advised to carefully select their hospital preferences, as there is no limit to the number of options they can provide. The system will collect these preferences from 11 a.m. on Monday to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Following the preference submission, posting orders, including hospital names, will be automatically emailed to candidates within two to three hours. Those receiving orders must report to their assigned district medical and health offices or teaching hospitals within 15 days for certificate verification.
Detailed information regarding this recruitment drive is available on the websites of the Directorate of Medical Education and the Recruitment Board. Candidates can access the portal for participation starting Monday at 11 a.m.
