Leah Matthews, 32, recently expressed her deep gratitude to the emergency services who rescued her following a near-fatal 130ft fall. The incident occurred last October while she was visiting Henrhyd Falls. Matthews sustained critical injuries, including fractures to her ribs, pelvis, hip, and foot.
Nearly six months after the fall, she has begun her recovery and sought to personally thank the Mid and West Wales Fire Service, the Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, and the Welsh Ambulance Service. Matthews conveyed her profound appreciation, stating she owes her life to their outstanding bravery and intervention.
